Vintage Fulper Pottery - 16 inch Tall Vase [Shape 589] - Mirror Black Finish

Description

This is a large Fulper Pottery Company vase, 16" tall in a black flambe glaze.  The base still has a Fulper paper label (circa 1917-1927) which includes the Fulper oval logo, the hand-written model number, "589," and the glaze,"Black." The base has an vertical oval raised "Fulper" (circa 1917-1923).  This in-mold mark was used on most with model Nos. 559 to 631.  There is a hairline crack in the base, but the pot is in otherwise excellent shape.
