GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1968 Ford Grand Torino for your consideration. It is powered by a 302ci V8 motor which sends power to the rear wheels through a manual transmission. The motor runs very well as it starts up strong, idles smoothly, and pulls hard. You must push the clutch in pretty far in order to get the car to go into gear but this is a running and driving vehicle.
The outward appearance could use some work on this Torino. It is painted in a metallic green and has most of the exterior trim still in place. It rides on aftermarket black wheels, but the original stock wheels are included with the sale of the vehicle. The black interior could also use the TLC but it does have a working power operated drivers seat. Also, there is an aftermarket retro style radio that accompanies the vehicle but has never been installed.
When most people think about Ford muscle cars, they think of Mustangs with the longevity of the line. However, no car enthusiast forgets about Ford's midsize entry to the Muscle Car era with the powerful Torino. With several prominent roles in recent movies (Gran Torino, Starsky & Hutch, & Fast & Furious) collectability and price of Torino's are going up.
